The Parade will proceed east on Jonquil then North down Main Street, then turn West down School Street, South down Center Street, ending at Village Hall. After the Parade please feel free to go to The Museums at Lisle Station Park for an Ice Cream Social where you can tour a fire truck or walk the Museums and/or shop Downtown Lisle.

This special event will honor those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.  This event is made possible by the support of VFW Ross Bishop Memorial Post #5696, Lisle Park District, Village of Lisle, Lisle Area Chamber, Lisle Police Department, Lisle Community Unit School District 202, Lisle Eyes to the Skies Committee, Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District and Lisle Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to participate in this worthwhile event.  There will be no compensation for participation and it’s free to you to participate. We do encourage groups to throw or pass out candy at this event to the spectators!

Please complete the enclosed Participation Form if you would like to participate. The deadline for sending in your participation form is June 1st.

Lisle Eyes to the Skies

“A Festival Benefiting Charities”

Recently, The Lisle Eyes to the Skies Festival committee presented nearly $50,000 to the festival’s affiliate members.  Proudly accepting checks for their organizations was Tom Althoff, Lisle Chamber of Commerce; Lisa Leone, Partners for Parks; Debbie Starr, Lions International; Dennis Webb, Lisle Education Foundation; Ed Czupryna, Kiwanis International and Mike Shuta, Rotary International.  The Eyes to the Skies Balloon Festival is a not-for-profit, 501c3 organization.  These affiliate members gathered hundreds of volunteers and spent countless hours and tireless effort resulting in the 2010 Eyes to the Skies being a great success.   It is the hope of the Eyes to the Skies Festival committee that these financial contributions will assist the Lisle service organizations in continuing to provide their valuable services within the community.  Dates for the 2011 Eyes to the Skies Balloon Festival are July 1 – July 3.
