Eyes to the Skies is a nonprofit 501(c)3 charity focused on raising funds for the six affiliate members (Chamber of Commerce, Education Foundation, Kiwanis, Lions, Partners for Parks and Rotary) located in the Village of Lisle, Illinois. We are predominately a hot air balloon festival that is held as close to July 4th each year as possible. The Eyes to the Skies Festival Committee is a volunteer organization and all net proceeds are donated to our partner affiliates.
Eyes to the Skies attracts over 50,000 attendees throughout the festival. 3+ bands play on each day at both of our 2 stages. We try to have a variety of music and are always looking for new acts to join our lineups.
The Eyes to the Skies Festival has been selected six times as One of the Country’s Top 100 Tourist Destinations by the American Bus Association. It’s been voted Best Festival by readers of West Suburban Living Magazine and named a member of the Illinois Festival Hall of Fame. Hampton Inn named it as a place to visit in its Year of 1,000 Weekends and the Chicago Centennial Flight Commission selected the festival for inclusion in its 12 Events for 12 Seconds when honoring the 100th anniversary of the first flight by the Wright Brothers.
We have had a range of bands and musical acts ranging from local Battle of the Bands winners, regional performers like American English all the way up to super star acts like Blake Shelton. We are always looking for new acts that will draw good crowds that are family friendly. If you are a a member of a band that would like to be considered to joining our 2014 festival or are a patron that would simply like to have us reach out to a band and attempt to book them, please contact us below.
