We appreciate your volunteering for this charitable cause. We are in need of volunteers for the following areas:
Current Volunteer Sign-up Sheets
No sheets currently available at this time.We could not be the successful festival we are if it weren’t for all our volunteers. We value you and the time you give to the festival each and every year. In turn, we do our very best to fulfill your requests for certain areas to the best of our abilities. We have a first come first serve policy, but even right up to opening day, we strive to respect your requests. This is why when you sign up, we will ask for 3 areas that you would be happy working in, in the event that we could not place you in your 1st choice, we would then go to your 2nd or even 3rd choice. We will confirm your times and area via email before the opening of the festival. So when you sign up please leave an email address or phone #, so we can contact you. We don’t post names and times here, for your privacy.

ABC’s Of Volunteering
All of the organizations in Lisle recruit volunteers. Volunteers are used to help staff all of the locations above, and work along with the festival committee members.
Before the start of all shifts, volunteers must check in at the Volunteer Trailer, located just in front of the High School. Upon check-in, their location will be verified, t-shirt given (if not picked up Wednesday evening), admission ticket, and food/drink tickets will be given out. The organization that they are giving their service hours too will be verified, and they will sign into the hours log book, both at the start and the end of their shifts.
Volunteers can give their hours to any of the participating 501(c)3 organizations that make up our Eyes to the Skies Committee, or they may donate them to the festival as a whole.
Compensation, or proceeds are distributed to the participating 501(c)3 organizations: Partners for Parks, Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, and Lisle Education Foundation; if the festival realizes a profit over the designated reserve amount. In this case, profit is divided by the total # of volunteer hours to determine a dollar amount per hour worked.
Standard shifts are 4 hours, and must be completed as such. In some areas the hours may differ, but the shift must still be completed as such.
- Every effort will be made to place volunteers at their choice of assignment, however, due to the peaks and flow of festival operations; it may become necessary to re-locate volunteer workers as needed. Please be understanding of this.
- There are no secure facilities to store personal belongings, so it is recommended that any and all personal items be left at home or in your car.
